Adriana Falcão

Adriana Falcão (born in 1960 in Rio de Janeiro) is an Academy Award-nominated Brazilian screenwriter.

Life

Graduated in Architecture, but never exercised the function. Born in Rio, and moved to Recife at 11 years old. She had a tragic life story: her father committed suicide and mother after a while, took a fatal dose of sleeping pills.

Works

Her first novel was The Machine (A máquina); as a screenwriter wrote for series such as Comedy privacy (Comédias da vida privada), A grande familia (A large family, also wrote the screenplays for the film. Currently publishes chronic in the paper O Estado de Sao Paulo.[1]
